Musical Notes Time Challenges

Description

Assess your students’ note identification knowledge and encourage them to practise and improve with these time challenges.

Students start at level 1 and work their way through to level 13. They are given two minutes (adjust the time to suit) to name all 30 notes. Once they have done so correctly, they can move on to the next level. Each week, alternate the two sheets for the level so students cannot memorise the pattern of notes.

Level 1 – Treble clef spaces
Level 2 – Treble clef lines
Level 3 – Treble clef lines and spaces
Level 4 – Bass clef spaces
Level 5 – Bass clef lines
Level 6 – Bass clef lines and spaces
Level 7 – Treble and bass clef spaces
Level 8 – Treble and bass clef lines
Level 9 – Treble and bass clef lines and spaces
Level 10 – Treble clef ledger lines
Level 11 – Bass clef ledger lines
Level 12 – Treble and bass clef ledger lines
Level 13 – All notes

The pack includes a full answer sheet. Record your students’ results using the group tracker and/or individual tracker.
